今日も朝から，試験勉強．
ここのところ寒いが，極端な放射冷却がないので，ちょっとはマシか．．．

Pattern A: dropping humid air temperature
1. radiational fog
2. advection fog
3. upslope fog
4. mixing fog

Pattern B: supplied extra humid vapor into ambient air
1. stream fog
2. frontal fog

A-1. radiational fog
Earth's surface cooled by nocturnal radiation make ambient air cool.

A-2. advection fog
relatively-warm air advected into cool surface, mainly sea surface.
Advected air is cooled from surface to upward.

A-3. upslope fog
upwellling air percel is cooled by adiabatic expansion.

A-4. mixing fog
air percel is mixed with relatively cool air

B-1. stream fog
cool air touched into relatively warm sea/water- surface. evaporated air forms fog.

B-2. frontal fog
involved by warm front movement.
evaporated rain drops leads to fog formation.
